The Placement Cell of East Calcutta Girls' College plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for Under Graduates and Post Graduates passing out from the college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The Placement Cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct interviews. We have been successful in maintaining our good placement statistics over the years as we have already placed our students in reputed MNCs, such as- Amazon, Just Dial, Flipkart, Global India Consultants, CTS Corporation (Cognizant), Mahima Industries. Our alumni too have been a part of this success. The Placement Cell organizes career guidance programmes for all the students starting from first year. The cell also arranges training programmes on Communication & IT Skill. Besides these, workshops on Interpersonal Skills, Personality Development are also conducted. For students interested to join Government Sector, the placement cell provides Competitive Examination training.
