The Department of Education of the East Calcutta Girls’ College was established in the year 1991, the Honours course was introduced in 2003 and the PG Course was introduced in 2016. The Department follows the curricula as prescribed by West Bengal State University in both undergraduate and post graduate stages. The subject ensures preparation of students as better human being, with a balanced personality and sound mental and physical health, with a successful career.
