At East Calcutta Girls’ College, we believe in fostering an environment that promotes gender equality, empowers women, and ensures their safety and well-being. To achieve these goals, we have established a dedicated Women's Cell that plays a pivotal role in nurturing the holistic development of our students. The Women's Cell serves as a safe haven, offering guidance, support, and a platform for students to voice their concerns and seek solutions to various issues they may encounter during their academic journey. Our committed team of faculty members is always ready to lend a sympathetic ear and provide assistance whenever needed. Our Women's Cell is actively involved in organizing seminars, workshops, and awareness campaigns on issues such as gender sensitivity, women's health, legal rights, and career development. Through these initiatives, we aim to equip our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in today's dynamic world. We also provide a platform for students to anonymously report any grievances or incidents, ensuring confidentiality and prompt action.

At East Calcutta Girls’ College, we are committed to creating an inclusive and empowering environment where our students can excel academically and personally. Our Women's Cell stands as a testament to our dedication to the holistic growth and well-being of every young woman who joins our institution. Together, we strive to create a brighter and more equitable future for all.
