Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Cell

The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Cell is established to promote, preserve, and integrate the rich intellectual and cultural heritage of India into contemporary education. The cell aims to create awareness among students about India’s contributions in areas such as science, mathematics, arts, literature, medicine, and philosophy.

By organizing lectures, workshops, exhibitions, and research projects, the IKS Cell provides a platform to explore ancient Indian wisdom in relevance to present-day challenges and innovation. It encourages interdisciplinary learning and appreciation for holistic knowledge systems rooted in Indian traditions.

The Cell also works in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) to foster pride in India’s intellectual legacy while encouraging critical inquiry and modern application. Through collaboration with scholars and IKS divisions across institutions, the Cell contributes to building a knowledge society enriched by India's timeless values and practices.
